The Long & The Short Of It, A Barbershop Quartet

The Long & The Short Of It formed in the spring of 2009 for the Gold Standard Chorus Cabaret show, a fundraiser presented annually in May. Since that time, the quartet has continued to polish their sound, sharing with the community the close 4-part harmony that is unique to the American Barbershop singing style. 

In February 2010, they earned 1^st Place in the mixed-voice category of the NorCal Novice Quartet Contest, placing 4^th in the competition overall. Long & Short has performed for private parties all around the Monterey Bay, delighting folks celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and Valentine’s Day with such songs as Heart of My Heart, San Francisco Bay Blues, and Home On The Range.
